IMPRESS at a glance

The IMPRESS Project is taking actions to tackle sustainability challenges in the marine and freshwater sectors, by:

  • promoting underutilised low-trophic species,
  • valorising waste streams, and
  • developing energy-efficient processes to create zero-waste value chains and new products for food, feed, and bio-based industries.

These efforts aim to empower stakeholders and enhance consumer perceptions of sustainable choices.
